Courses to Suit all Ages and Skill Levels
Pembrokeshire road training currently have 4 vehicles with more due on the road soon. There is the choice between 2 Renault Clio’s, a Citroen C3, and a Nissan Micra.
Jennie Busby and Malcolm Tindale of 2:Can School of Motoring head the course and drive our beliefs forward in driver training. DSA registered grade 5 instructors, they have worked hard to build a reputation and pass rate that speaks for itself. All vehicles have dual controls for peace of mind and fully maintained to ensure maximum reliability. If you so wish, your own vehicle may be used upon completion of an assessment and the relevant insurance. This is an ideal solution for those who wish to gain there licence as an automatic only.
The Courses.
There are a wide range of courses available to suit drivers of all abilities. Initial courses will provide you with the skills required to complete a DSA driving test, Pass Plus allows experience to be gained in motorway, city, country and night time driving, while refresher courses are also available for those who feel a little extra tuition may help. The courses are designed for students of any age or ability. We also offer a driver analysis service and a defensive driving course designed for those who would like to take their driving abilities a little further.
Theory Test
Training can commence as soon as your age and provisional licence permits. Prior to sitting your practical test you will be required to sit a DSA theory and hazard perception test. If you would prefer we can book this test on your behalf if necessary. We offer a classroom based training course for the theory test and will be looking at commencing a hazard perception course in the near future.
Practical Test
The practical test is a 40 minute on road driving examination. This will be broken up to several sections to test your observations, awareness, driving skills and safety on the road. Before the on road exam commences you will be required to complete a simple eye test exercise and answer a series of road and vehicle based questions. The driving section of the test will include two manoeuvring procedures and an exercise to ensure you have control of the vehicle under breaking.
Further Training
The car test is your start of life on the road as a driver. Further training is available in the form of trailer, LGV and PCV training. Alternatively once you have built your skills, we offer a defensive driving course to help enhance your skill and road craft. Contact us for more details.
