Nigel
Nigel has one vision, to develope a training company that would train candidates beyond the driving test and prepare them for the future ahead. With 23 years service in Thames Valley Police, Nigel saw first hand the effects of insufficient training, ability and skill which were the cause of many of the incidents he attendend. On retiring, Nigel followed his family roots and entered the industry as a driver. A vast variety of work was completed including general haulage, tanker and agency work along with executive coach driving allowing him a clear insight into the standards the industry required. It became apparent that the training conventually provided was not to a standard preparing a driver for work beyond their test. After a short stint as an instructor with a another company Nigel started training on his own and PRT was born.

Chris has completed a wide variety of work including general haulage right the way through to abnormal loads and as a CPC holder has also been involved with the day to day running within the transport industry giving him an insight to what is actually required. Chris is also a qualified plant instructor again with experience from previous training companies and again can also bring a wealth of knowledge through his own previous experience. Chris is normally the instructor available to speak to when the company attends an event so is always on hand with any questions you may have.
Steve
Steve has been with the company for 4 years now and acts mainly these days as an advisor rather than an instructor. Steve was when he completed his course the youngest qualified RTITB instructor in Wales and holds more experience than most drivers could ever achieve in their careers. Joint second in the lorry driver of the year award in his younger days, Steve then went on to international transport covering the physically challenging areas including turkey, iran and iraq gaining a reputation throughout the industry. Steve now uses his experiences to pass on to future generations of drivers and is available to answer questions that might arise throughout a drivers career. With this type of experience at hand Steve is a more than valuable member of the team.
Dave
Dave is usually the first voice your speak to and co-ordinates the training and test bookings. The son of Nigel making this makes the company family run business coming into the forefront of the business since September 2008. Previously Dave completed his licence and learnt the trade gaining a wealth of experience in a variety of vehicles and load scenarios transporting anything from general haulage right the way through to abnormal loads. On building his reputation whilst transporting abnormal loads Dave then started working for a local haulier on general haulage covering a large variety of collection and distribution locations. This experience has proved invaluable and combined with the Operator CPC qualification being gained in 2009 means that Dave is more than capable of advising on most customer queries.
