August 2011: Pembrokeshire Road Training is taken over by Mainport Training, offering the same quality training in the same area under new management.
February 2010: The company see's a record number of tests completed in one week with 12 practical tests successfully completed. This paves the way for similar volumes in coming weeks with volumes requesting our training services on the increase.
January 2010: PRT signs as one of the main sponser for the 2010 Pembrokeshire Classic Car run. Nigel quotes "It is an honour to be associated with this prestigious event and we wish the run the continued success and growth it has seen in previous years"
December 2009: Working with West Wales Car Club, PRT join forces with Go-For-It Skid Car and BP Karting at the showground in Haverfordwest to host an activity day for some of the more diadvanteged kids in the area. With the 13-16 year olds getting their first taste at driving an artic lorry, the road safety emphasis with the theory test challenge and skid car with the entertainment of the go-karts, the day was a renounding success. Plans are already in place for hosting a similar event next year with more schools and organisations showing an interest.
December 2009: In the companies commitment to ensuring a complete training package is available for all their customers, PRT have launced their theory test practice facility. This is the first purpose built facility of this nature in the area and is open for use by everyone not just those who train with PRT!
October 2009: Pembrokeshire Road Training joins forces with Driver CPC Wales to deliver their first Driver CPC course in Haverfordwest. This program is aimed to deliver one days training per driver each year allowing the accumilation of their 35 hours and minimising impact for companies. The course proved a great success.
September 2009: Haverfordwest driving test facility completes the first tests of any private test facility in Wales. This is another first for the company and proves the companies commitment in moving training in Pembrokeshire forward.
